Picodrive 1.51 snatcher problem *spoiler*

It plays fine up until near the end of act 2. I go into Queens hospital, eventually ID the bodies, then the snatchers come out, the Chinese guy makes his speech, and Random announces his plan to go kablooey. Right after he says "Gillian! I guess I won't be able to collect on that debt you owe me after all...", Gillian says "Don't worry-" and is cut off. The CD LEDs stop blinking and there's no sound, just Random sitting there blinking. I've tried every possible option, vsync, all the Megacd options, both renderers, all that. Nothing gets me past this. If anyone can help, please do. Or perhaps somebody could provide a save file at the first possible save after this event?

and I'm using the SegaCdBios9303.bin which is 128 kb in size.

try on a windows sega cd emu and see if the issue still occurs, maybe it is a bad dump

OK try this.

On option of the mulator under segacd/megacd options
turn on better sync option, save it, then load your iso and try again.
