Need help viewing video files on PSP

im trying to watch video files on my PSP.. ive tried to convert them into MPEG4 using ImTOO PSP Video Converter , but after the conversion i put them on the memory card on PSP and then go to video section,and it says there is no files to watch. ive tried putting the file in all of the folders, but it doesnt work.Ive tried to install PSP Video 9.. but it doesnt install.. keeps saying im not connected to internet, and i am.. sorry if it all sounds like stupiud questions but i just got the damn thing.. what im looking for is a way to view video files of all types.. on my PSP.. what do i need to do this.. and what is the procedure to actually get them on my PSP.. you first need to rename the mpeg file to M4V00001.MP4 where the five numbers can be anything, so just" M4V(five numbers).MP4"
then put this file in a folder named "100MNV01" on the root of the memory stick,
