Samsung's mobile Application Store has gone live with a mixture of games and apps, including a smattering of big-name games.
Guitar Hero: World Tour and Space Invaders are two of the most high-profile games available at launch, retailing for £3.50 and £3 in the UK respectively.
That implies prices will be pegged low on the store from launch. Com2uS' Super Action Hero, Gameloft's Bubble Bash and Astraware Solitaire are among the other featured games for the store's launch.
However, elsewhere there are some big names lacking. The most well-known app in the Social Networking category is ShoZu, for example - no Facebook or MySpace for launch. Meanwhile, mobile browser Skyfire is the biggest name in the featured Entertainment apps list.
However, the number of available apps can be expected to increase quickly: earlier this month, Handmark announced that it would be aggregating Windows Mobile and Symbian apps for the store.
