help with snes emu!

i have a psp v 2.6 and i installed eloader .97 and snes9xTYL 0.4.2 standard ,the 1.0 folder. every time i choose it on eloader the screen turns white and it freezez and i have to take out the battery to turn it off. what did i do wrong? this also happens with dgen 1.3 but it happens when i load the rom.

snes9xTYL 0.4.2 doesnt work on 2.60.

But i found this edited version of it which takes the white screen out and you can play the emulator like normal. leave feedback if it works or not.

Actually thats not quite true, there's a weird bug that stops the opening title (and therefore the emulator) from running. This all depends on whether or not you have any other GTA saves.

i'm getting the same prob with 2.5
all was fine until i did a gta save and now dgen still works but snes9xtyl freezes with a white screen before the list of roms appears
any ideas of what i can do without having to get rid of my gta save?
