Default Uncommon VMU Save Problem? Any ideas?

My DC won't save to the VMU Properly. Most games (back-ups) cannot write to the VMU and there are a few games that will read data, however the save file is always corrupt.
Sometimes, controller ports 2-4 won't work after a game is loaded. I haven't taken the DC apart yet since I bought it from EBgames. Anyone got any ideas?

Well it just sounds like the VMU is bust, have you tried a differant VMU or perhaps a differant controller? Does the VMU still power on? (beep when DC comes on?)
The 2-4 controller ports could be just to do with the games being 'backups'.

Sorry i cant really help but its just something broken doubt its fixable.

Oh and no talk of backups on the forums, thanks. REad thje rules, persistant talk of them may lead to a ban.

    Thanks
