I wanted to do something similar to that, put the DC inside my case along with my PC, then make a front loading DC drive that would go into one of the 5.25" bays, then attach the video out of the DC to the video-in of my TV card. I could play DC in a window on my PC

The main problem was getting the drive assembly to front load, I've managed to destroy two DC laser setups trying this - with some limited results - games will load but will often freeze on load screens as it's unable to read disc

I finish my A Levels in two weeks SO I'll have more time to do all the mods I've wanted to do for ages.

If I ever get round to it I'll post results here first
