Forum Eurogamer Expo tickets almost gone

Demand has once again been high for this year's Eurogamer Expo, taking place in Leeds and London next week, with only a handful of tickets now remaining for the event.

Both days in London are now sold out, but gamers hoping to catch first UK showings of some of the most important titles of this year - and next - can still purchase tickets for Wednesday October 28 at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.

Among the games making their UK debuts will be Aliens vs Predator, Assassin's Creed II, God of War III, Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Red Steel 2, Split/Second and more.

"It's been nine months in planning but we're now only a few days from opening the doors to Eurogamer Expo 2009," said Rupert Loman, managing director of Eurogamer. "Judging by the number of emails and calls we’re getting since London sold out, we could have sold twice as many tickets as we made available. This bodes very well for our plans for next year."

In other recent developments, NVIDIA and Acer have been unveiled as the official PC partner for the event, and over 500 journalists have signed up to attend - including broadcast television and radio channels, magazines and websites.

And as well as the games, the Eurogamer Expo will also be home to The Developer Sessions, with appearances from Quantic Dreams' David Cage, Valve's Chet Faliszek, Splash Damage's Paul Wedgwood and Guillaume Voghel and Alex Hutchinson from EA Montreal.

Plus, the BAFTA Sessions make a welcome return to give students and graduates the opportunity to discuss their options with key industry figures, while the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair will feature major names including Crytek, Ubisoft, Relentless, Rare and Team 17.

Attendees will also be able to buy new releases on the show floor thanks to the event's retail partner, HMV, while people working in the games industry wishing to attend on days already sold out should contact the organisers in advance - no tickets will be available on the door.

I haven't heard that there was ticket. So I didn't come to the show. I wish I had seen this first.
