    What did SQUARE ENIX used to model their characters in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children?

    i reackon its 3DS Max, but someone else told me its a totally different program.

    just out of curiousity, what do you lot think?

    If I remember right, they used Maya for The Spirits Within, but I know they've frequently used SoftImage in the past as well. Don't know about Advent Children, but my guess is that they would've deffinately used something more capable than 3DS Max.

    I'd suppose they used Maya once again, or some bigger self made program that none of us has ever heard of.

    oh right.

    i tried to look close and hard in the making of FFVIIAC and i couldnt point it out still. maybe i havent looked everywhere on what kind of software like 3DSMAX is out.

    u lot, have a try if u have the DVD.

    i would guess Maya, as its the most common for that sort of stuff ( movies/ cut scenes)
