    Default Safe pc

Got a new pc for my birthday and I am thinking of spending some money for good security software. But I am looking for a bundle that includes all the tools I need to make my pc safe. It should include a firewall, antivirusprotection, antispyware and so on.

What programmes would you say are the best ones for this job?

Well if you dont mind seperate apps for each thing then for the grand total of £0.00 you could use avast antivirus & ZoneAlarm to cover virus & firewall duties, I use them & theyre great.

I do all my online shopping with a bootable linux distro like damn small linux. http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/

I dont believe in running all this crap, killing my processor so that I MAY protect your PC from script kiddies.

    2)google

    3)Ebay / auto trader.

Since you are asking for a pack - aka security suite - you might want to check out Norton Internet Security 2006.

It has what you ask for, antivirus, firewall, inbuilt spyware and adware protection, as well as a regular spam blocker for your e-mail and a popup blocker for your web surfing.

Everything integrates nicely into one program window, and once installed won't hassle you at all. Updates happen automatically, too, so you're always on the safer side of things.
