Did you send Christmas cards this year? Perhaps an e-card? A text? Whatever you did, Epson has just one-upped you with its augmented reality greeting cards.
On the website they've set up for the end of year nengajo cards, they show how easy it is to use one of the Colorio printers (which cost around $600), to print off a color postcard with a picture of your face super-imposed over a cute picture of 2010's year of the tiger character. Holding it up to a webcam brings the augmented reality to life, as you can see in the video demo on Epson's site. How kawaaaaiiiii. [Epson via DVICE]
