The latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine is carrying a brief rumour, claiming that the fifth game in the Dead or Alive series - one that's long been a Microsoft exclusive - will also be appearing on the PS3.
If correct, it wouldn't be the world's biggest surprise; not only is "former console exclusive goes multiplatform" an increasingly common headline these days, but series creator Tomonobu Itagaki has left developers Team Ninja, meaning the team are approaching the fifth game in the main series with a clean slate.
Of course, it was never really an Xbox exclusive to begin with, as games prior to 2001's Dead or Alive 3 appeared on the PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and Saturn. But still. Exclusive for eight years is long enough for some people to go taking things for granted.
