Default PSP as a PC Game Controller

Theoretically, since the PSP can communicate via USB, couldn't someone write a program to use the PSP as a PC gamepad?

    That would kick a$$

if the psp can work a tv or robot. it should be able to work with the pc. my only concern would be the psp battery life. maybe the program can disable the screen to conserve power, then quit the program or unplug it from usb to enable the screen again. great idea LM

Game Boy advance can be a robot.

My uncle and his students did it. Honest.

Though DS has this already, it could be cool.

Well Battery Life is easily enough resolved, have the screen dimming option turned on, and also use one of the USB cables that also charges your PSP at the same time.
