Put all the folders that came with the .rar in the root of the MS then put a UMD game in the drive, load DevHook.44 hit the circle button, when u get the black screen with white letters set it to 222MHz, and tell it to load the 2.71FW, the what u do is go up to the top and select start BTW: u select evrything with the circle button……then after the game begins to load or takes u to the start menu (which ever comes first) hit HOME and move over to YES then there u go

    Hope it helps!

Awesome, I only just finished downloading 0.43 (dial-up), and I was overjoyed to finally be able to watch Final Fantasy VII Advent children again, now i can't wait to see what flash has to offer on my little black magic box, who needs modchips anyway? Seeing that the source codes on the net (and i'm sure sony have a copy) I doubt the next update will be Quite so easy to crack. Seven thumbs up to all involved in making this incredible piece of homebrew!!

This is truely a wonderful day for the homebrew scene. At long last the 1.5 owners are free to play any games and flash apps and use all the features that the 2.71 firmware brings. It just goes to show that anything is possible. I can't wait to see if the firmware with the PSOne Emulator gets eventually added to DevHook. Something tells me Sony's going nuts right now.

I've just installed this and have played the demo of Locoroco! Awsome game, will be buying the game tomorrow. That will bring my grand total of commercial games for the psp to 2!
