Q? Why some JAP games in English, some not?

Hello, just picked up REZ and Giant Gram 2000 both in JAP format. Rez has almost no Jap words at all in it, and Giant Gram has almost no English! And thats the game i need to read alot. Anyway, strange to me, but is there a guide for Giant Gram 2000 in english? thanks.
