It's fair to say that Activision has a few people gunning for it at the moment, not least its chief rival EA.

Fresh from the victory of signing a major publishing deal with the new studio opened by former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella, EA's had another pop at Activision.

The latest dig, from EA's US director of corporate communications, Jeff Brown, comes after Activision said it expects to be quids in during the first quarter of 2010 thanks to the "record breaking" success of Modern Warfare 2's Stimulus pack DLC.

Referring to Activision's announcement, Brown told IndustryGamers:

"This is kind of like announcing: The race horse I shot last month has won the Triple Crown!"

Another two members of the Modern Warfare 2 team bailed on Infinity Ward and Activision today, meaning the number of walkouts since early March is now in double figures, which certainly isn't a joke for the Call of Duty maker.
