Squidge posted this news:

Got a bit of time on my hands tonight, so I thought I'd look at sweetlilmre's Grodo. I've optimized it slightly:

Now instead of :

50 fps without sound (fs0), 25 fps with sound (fs1)

It's:

75 fps without sound (fs0), 65+ fps with sound* (also fs0)

You could say many games play a little too fast Best use the frame rate limiter to keep the speed closer to 50 fps (it's on by default).

* = in game speed whilst playing music/sound effects. When a game isn't running, expect over 70 fps.

Also, I've added a user activity simulator, so if you want to watch some C64 demos or whatever, the LCD doesn't dim whilst the emu is running.

Now, as this is a hack, I might have broken something. I've been playing The Last Ninja 2 for the past hour and everything seems fine, but you never know...
