There's no official statement on whether or not the game will be ported to Dreamcast, but between you and me: Yes, I am sure this game will see a Dreamcast port

Oh come on! If you spent three of four years working on a new game for your favorite console, you surely wouldn't want to see it hacked for MAME right at its release, would you ?

I mean... What kind of comment is that ?

It wouldn't be put into MAME, even if it was an older game, since it isn't a coin-op. Now, if it WERE a coin-op, the team would give it a few years to become a "non-revenue-producing" game before they'd emulate it. I left the MAME team years ago so I forgot the timeframe that they use; I think it's 4-5 years, maybe...?

As a quick example, the Golden Tee golf games were emulated back in the early 00s and Aaron released a driver to run them on the MAMEDEV list, but they didn't see an actual public release until around 2004 or so. The initial driver was pretty slow if I recall, on my old C500...
