The gold writting(numbers) you spoke about, i have one on the left hand corner looking into the UMD bay from the back. so im guessing you mean its on the right looking into the bay from the top ???

my copy of liberty city stories has the 2.6 upgrade so does that mean i cant downgrade my psp?

hey guys, ive put 2 emulators on ma psp, im version 1.5 and they should work but no joy any ideas? i get a message saying 'The game could not be started (80020001)' :'(

Hi,

I just bought a PSP and seem to be ok. My firmware version came with 2.60, and i don't see any writing on the green board inside the UMD slot on either right or left side. So i asume i'm fine to downgrade.

However, for the "tools" needed for downgrading, i have downloaded the file, but i don't have a copy of gta liberty city. In order for this to work, do i have to go buy this UMD, and if i buy it how do i know if its patched or unpatched in the shop?

(1) An unpatched UMD of gta liberty city stories. You can check if you have a unpatched GTA by going to the game icon and pressing up.
