You activate the mp3 prx through the recovery menu. It's just a plugin like cwcheat.

How much is the difference between 111 mhz and 28 mhz, is it much better ?

It depends on the conditions, for fixing I recommend 28 Mhz. Try it out and share your results..

it actually works pretty good at first to fix the sat's, after that i set it to 222. I live in nyc and i got a fix inside my house! never happend b4.

deniska, am not rushing but is it possbile for u to release a small add-on version to 0.499 where we can adjust the cpu speed directly from mapthis? i'm using GPS-290 n sometimes i need around 15-20 mins before i can get a lockon so am just asking casually if it is possible, hope i wun get 'shoot'... =)

Can't you set it to 111Mhz from GPS INFO screen already?

Deniska could you add the 28 mhz option. I re-tested my solution with the 290 version and it actually works !
It saves upto 30 seconds of fixing.

My fastest fix now is 1 minute 46 seconds.
