They were showing off a mock-up for a cellphone-like attachment for the PlayStation Portable at E3 last May, so maybe this shouldn’t exactly come as a shocker, but buried at the bottom of this story about how Sony is increasing production of their new portable game console, is a little teaser from Sony Computer Entertainment CEO and president Ken Kutaragi about how they might be adding a mobile phone function to the PSP in the near future. It’s hard to imagine anyone who already owns a cellphone wanting to make calls with a PSP instead (we won’t even touch the issue of battery life), but maybe they’ll swipe a page from Nokia’s N-Gage playbook and introduce a way for people to compete head-to-head over a cellphone data connection. Or something.
so it will be able to be used as a stupidly sized mobile now aswell!! i think ill stick with my nokia 6600 thanks
