Having posted the conference from 27C3 where the new team, fail0verflow, talked about the security on the PS3 and how it was an EPIC FAIL, Geohot, has posted the metLdr key:

What does this mean? This means that you can now decrypt and sign ANYTHING ON THE PS3 system. This pretty much means the PS3 is as hacked as it can get. For the end user, this doesn't mean much as we can not do anything with it. This is more for developers.

Like I was certain about 2010, I'm sure 2011 will be a good year for the PS3 also.
