Home/News XCM Announces New XFPS 5.0. Compatible for PS3 and Xbox 360

XCM announced a new XFPS. This is an update to the XFPS 4.0 Force for the PS3 and XFPS 4.0 Speed for the Xbox 360. The new XFPS 5.0 will work on both the PlayStation 3™ and Xbox 360™ game consoles. So if you own both consoles, you no longer have to purchase two separate adapters (FINALLY!). It will be 100% compatible with all kinds of mice and keyboards, headset support, 3 level of auto fire function etc.

Note: need to connect to PC (laptop or desktop).

No word on release date or pricing but we'll have more information when it is available.

]The ps3 already has a FREE program to use your PS3 controller on your PC, you can map the buttons with xpadder.

This allows you to use mouse and keyboard on your PS3/Xbox 360 but requires a laptop/desktop. Not use PS3/Xbox 360 controller on your PC. This seems to be the same exact thing as the XFPS 4.0 but instead of having 2 different adapters (1 for each console)...XFPS 5.0 works on both systems. This is perfect for those who own both and play on both. They no longer have to spend $90+ for each console. Buy 1 and use on both systems.

What the hell? why would you want to do that?
playing a game with out triggers sounds horrible. really only playing a PS3 FPS game with a mouse sounds rewarding.

I guess you haven't read the XFPS 4.0 reviews or watched the YouTube videos or noticed the XFPS in the name of the product.

The XFPS line is geared towards FPS games. Obviously, you wouldn't be using a keyboard and mouse to play racing or fighting games.
