    Default the end of Jaguar?

Ford have put the Jaguar F1 team up for sale. The company announced on Friday that they had finally lost patience with the team after five years of disappointing results.

should have seen this comming after ford closed one of the Jaguar plants!

    does anyone else follow F1?

When I saw the title I thought this thread was about the Atari Jag 64 console. ;D
Yeah, you knew this was going to happen to the underperforming Jaguar F1 team. To think that this outfit used to be Stewart Racing (Jackie Stewart) and that Barrichello used to race successfuly for the team, before they turned it into Jaguar. :'(

    underperforming Jaguar F1 team
also under funded team(compare to the big names), ford never really had its heart in it.

I heard yesterday (In L'equipe, a french magasine) that's Ford just want to create a F1 FORD team and will rename the team.

... But no news about any french drivers next year

panis is retireing :-/, still there are no irish drivers either, and jordan might not be round for much longer.

i remember when eddie irvine was driving well for Ferrrari, the british media called him british, but when he was driving badly for Jaguar , they called him Irish :

There had been whispers in recent weeks that the Detroit giant was considering re-branding the team as Ford - but chief technical officer said this idea had been discounted.
Ford have also put engine supplier Cosworth on the market, raising questions over the future of Minardi and Jordan too.
    crap :-/
