hey acidburn i feel da same way about FF its too overated, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is to be out soon so i would wait for that

actually this sounds cool, but... well remember the chrono trigger project a few years back? ... yeah, square enix isnt very friendly when it comes to their IP

klisejo i think your right that people shouldn't criticise homebrewers and you apologised thats a tick in my book and I haven't played FFVI so it would be interesting to play keep it on the low Nyxojaele

I think what you're trying to do is great man.

Despite the history of Chrono Trigger remake, despite this topic going into which FF is better instead of what you're trying to do, despite any negativity, I think you should go for it as much as you can. Do what you want- make a game you loved.

But most of all, do it for yourself. Make it because you want to make it. Your opinion should go above all else.

Personally, I can't wait to see what happens with this game. Good luck.

Not to stay off topic (I do think it looks great from the video, and has a great potential to revive a classic) anyone who keeps touting FF VII as the best, have you played any of the older ones. Not to show my age, but I still have my NES ver of FF, with my original saves and characters, and i have FF III on the SNES... (not emulated by the way), and my collection dates even eairler than that

I like FFVII the most and I've played FFVI. I guess I just like the pretty 3D graphics.
