New releases may have dried up for 2011, but Nintendo promises Wii and 3DS owners have plenty to look forward to next year.
The platform has dated a range of first-party titles for the first quarter, including Wii family title Mario Party 9 and 3DS adventure Kid Icarus: Uprising in March.
Nintendo's latest release schedule also revealed a number of sequels due in 2012, including PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond for Wii and DS footballer Inazuma Eleven 2. And Professor Layton will make his UK 3DS debut next year in his fifth puzzle title to land on these shores.
Finally, Nintendo confirmed release dates for Boom Street (January 6th), Resident Evil: Revelations (January 27th) and The Last Story (February 24th).
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D was promised a winter launch, while a vague '2012' release window was given for 3DS titles Mario Tennis and Luigi's Mansion 2.
