Electronic Arts has announced Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances, a free-to-play game for PC and mobiles that the publisher says is "the first truly portable MMOG."
Developed by Phenomic, the EA-owned German developer whose most recent release was 2010 RTS Lords Of Ultima, Tiberium Alliances will enter beta tomorrow, December 15. Those interested can sign up at the source link below.
Senior producer Martin Löhlein said: "We are thrilled to have the opportunity to forge new ground with this acclaimed franchise. We're hoping to deliver an experience that will allow our loyal fans to play their favourite franchise anywhere they go, while introducing the exciting world of Tiberium to new players."
This is the second new Command & Conquer game EA has announced in the space of a week; it unveiled Generals 2, a PC exclusive in development at BioWare Victory, at the Spike VGA last weekend.
