Default how do i get my acekard 2i working on 3ds

    Hi
i have upgraded my sons dsi to a 3ds and i tried to just place the card in the 3ds and hoped it would work without any problems not so the 3ds knows the card been inserted but when you select it it comes up with an error.
I am running the up to date software for the acekard 2i and the nintendo firmware is version 1.1.0e.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
    Thank you.

Update the firmware using a DS/Lite. If your DSi hasn't been updated to the latest firmware (or your Acekard 2i is on a late enough version) you could also use that DSi.

EDIT: Also, if your Acekard is on the latest firmware as you stated, try updating your 3DS to the latest version.
