Angry creatives take to Google Merchant Forums to blow the whistle.
Last week, we reported that Google may be forcing its developers to integrate the Google Wallet payments into their Android apps.
Now, Google has been accused of swindling European developers out of March payments for their Google Play apps – formerly known as Android Market – by providing them with false information that their funds had been transferred, according to Android Central.
Based on the comments, a payment should have been made on March 2nd, but almost two weeks later and bank accounts remain untouched.
The developers have been venting their frustrations with Google in the Google Checkout Merchant forums, and more than 100 posts have been made in week-old thread thus far.
Google generically responded to one developer, saying: "Thanks for reaching out to us. To ensure a faster resolution, I’ve forwarded your message to a team that’s better able to address your concerns. We’ll respond with additional information as soon as possible."
