thats a pain in the ass....the black part of the analog stick actually splits, and you kind of have to close it in w/ the analog nub and the spring "around" it....kind of align it as its being closed, cuz that spring is a real pain :P

I realize this is a massive bump, however im wondering if you could possably elaborate on this, as i'm currently experiencing the exact same problem. Pics if possable (probrably not, but i whould like an idea oh what it is supposed to look like, more or less.

Thanks in advance, my appologies if its a burden.

I'll settle for a mspaint pic if i need too, i just don't see how the spring is supposed to fit/work.

    And yeah, its a pain

    Anyone, please?

I just want to play with my psp some more. The games, the emulation, the ir shell i use in place of my broken remote....i yearn for it. That and it bites having a hole where the analog nub belongs.

Alright people, i actually found a solution. I kinda feel like an idiot now, but meh.

Ahywho, i recomend this vid for anyone having a similar problem.

I claim no credit in its production/upload, it goes through the complete teardown and rebuild of the psp analog stick assembely.

My psp 3.03 OE-C is now functioning propraly again:thumbup:

    Good Games everyone.
