Online shopping assistant Milo has observed the fast adoption rate of tablets in the US to find almost 90 million Americans will own a tablet by the end of 2014, rising from 55 million expected at the end of this year.
The infographic cites growing tablet use means an increase in online shopping from an entirely new platform, which retailers can use to their advantage if they acknowledge the tablet shopper appropriately.
A perfect example demonstrated is tablet users spending one-fifth more on shopping than desktop or laptop users.
