So are you guys using this wirelessly with your PC via bluetooth, or do you have it hooked up with USB the whole time?

okay i've done this about 10 times now reinstalling uninstalling etc. Every time my controller just keeps blinking at me

Here's a look at my DOS screen when it pops after i open the ps3sixaxis_en.exe file.

im getting a bad block error message when i go to unzip ...win32.exe and then im also getting the flashing prompt when i open the extracted sixaxis file.

Hey, first time poster.
for hockey2112: I've been using the USB. I don't know if the Bluetooth connection would work. But I will try it sometime.

Anyway, I also had a little bit of trouble while trying to install the controller and quickly made a tutorial for others.

It's a shame I can't as I don't have that PS3 controller - it would make playing PC game easier. Don't even have the PS3 to start with anyway.

Go To Control Panel>Game Controllers Then Double click on game controllers if your Playstation(R)3 Controller is listed their then your good to go.

I think everyone is having the same problem with me, and sadly that guide didn't fix anything.

Now, if the controller doesn’t work for you, I can’t really offer much help. But I can at least show you if your computer is recognizing the controller. To access Device Manager, right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Hardware Tab -> Device Manager.

that's exactly what my problem is, the controller just doesn't work. I can press all the buttons I want, and it doesn't do anything, also, all 4 red lights on controller blink if that means anything.

I even checked the Human Interface Devices for PS3 controller, and it's exactly like yours.
