A flash survey of 968 people by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk found 32 per cent of Brits would upgrade to a Facebook Smartphone if the device launches.
In all 73 per cent said the rumoured device was a ‘good idea’, and here are the reasons why:
1. Facebook chat accessibility – 62%
2. Cheaper alternative to an iPhone – 57%
3. Constant access to Facebook – 55%
4. Simple functionality – 49%
5. Keep up with new tech trends – 48%

One has to be a little dubious about the findings. After all users have had the chance to switch to Facebook-configured phones before - from INQ and HTC - and have never gone for it.
Also, loyalty to iPhone and Galaxy et al is pretty strong. Too strong, one would think, for widespread switching.
