Default Nintendo DS - Supercard Lite Save Problem

    Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a Nintendo DS, with a Supercard Lite and Super Key.

My son is trying to play Pokemon games and it starts off with that the battery is flat so timed events will not happen. No problem with that, I can understand that issue.

When he saves a game it appears to work, yet it is not reconigised when the DS is rebooted.

I have gone to the "Saver" tab in the Supercard Lite menu and selected the save file. It says do you want to load it into the SC, so I say yes.

When I try then run the GBA game by moving across to the game menu, it's not seen.

Am I missing something really stupid here?

    Many thanks.

Well, if it's a GBA Pokemon game, he has to save by pushing L+R+B+Select and hitting Save and Yes.
That's called a Real Time Save.

If it's a NDS/NDSL game he should be able to save normally by in game means.
HOWEVER, if he cannnot save like that on a NDS game, you need to update your firmware.

Updated firmware can be found here:

I believe you'd want the "SCLite 1.7" that's under the Supercard Micro.
You put that on the memory card, start up the SCLite and run it as you would a game. Once it's all done you can remove it from the memory card and be all set.
That is, if you are indeed running the SCLite on a DS Lite.
Because if you're using an original DS with a SCLite, you may have issues.
