Rev WiiCR - Media Player (of sorts) for the Nintendo Wii

WiiCR first public release has happened today, heres the info:

WiiCR is a media player solution for the Nintendo Wii. It acts as a streaming media server and is capable of transcoding nearly any video file to a suitable flv for an embedded flash player. It allows browsing of the remote filesystem to select a video. It can also view text files, jpg's and play mp3s.

This program is pretty neat-o. I hope it works with the Wii Opera browser. If it works, I don't have to sit at my desk when I watch "rented" movies now. I can just have them stream to my Wii and watch them on my tv.

Yeah, I was having problems too setting this up, but click the "WiiCR" link that's in the first line in the first post and it will take you to a wikipedia link that gives step by step on how to set up and test. But you do have to download and install more software. The links to the software you need are on that page tho.

Also the link that is posted in the first post to download the file is wrong. The correct file is on the wikipedia page.
