Android 4.0 device has full access to Google Play.
Sony have announced a new line of Walkmans (Walkmen? Walkmi?) with the flagship device being the Android-powered F800.
Available with 8GB, 16GB and 32GB memory storage, the Sony F800 Walkman has a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, is Bluetooth compatible and can download apps Google Play via wifi.
Music can be added by downloading tracks with Music Unlimited from Sony Entertainment Network, and iTunes content (as long as it’s not DRM) can also be dragged and dropped onto the Walkman’s media player; a smart move if the Japanese firm plan to take on the iPod.
This isn't Sony's first Android-powered Walkman - the mediocre Walkman Z was released earlier this year - but early indications are the F800 will be received more warmly.
It is expected to launch in Europe priced at around £210 ($279).
