Korean OEM falls victim to more speculation about its super-sized phablet.
Samsung's current Galaxy Note is a mammoth of the mobile market – not because of hair or tusks – due to its huge 5.3-inch screen, something some consumers consider to be too big.
It's a cross between phone and tablet (phablet) and BGR reckons Samsung will unleash an even larger 5.5-inch Note II at a press conference on August 15th.
The device is also thought to feature a flexible unbreakable plane (UBP) display, with advanced speeds and multi-tasking functions supported by a quad-core processor.
Meanwhile, sister device the Galaxy S III has hit ten million sales in under two months, and Samsung will likely be hoping the Note II will prove to be as popular.
The current Note is averaging at a million sales per month, reaching seven in seven.
