The turn in the tide has made a huge impact, with 78 per cent using a smartphone as their first web browsing method, falling to 57 per cent for desktop users.
Meanwhile, Brits are the most lax Europeans for adopting smartphone security, with 52 per cent oblivious that such software even exists, while just 19 per cent have adopted anti-virus tech.
