Activision has thrown its full weight behind Nintendo's Wii U with a quartet of games led by its flagship shooter Call of Duty.
Activision publishing executive Eric Hirshberg stood on Nintendo's stage at a special press conference in New York to state that Wii U owners will get "the full Call of Duty" experience.He explained the game will be displayed in full HD, at sixty frames per second, adding that the Wii U was fully capable of hosting the type of games Activision wants to create.
As well as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the publisher will release 007 Legends, Transformers Prime and Skylanders Giants for the console.
The Wii U will be released in the US on November 18, priced at $299 for the basic model and $349 for the premium version.
