Deniska, My mapthis prog only works if i run in 1.5kernel and i put it in game310 folder... And i deleted the %folder of the mapthis program. Now im only left with 1 mapthis folder in my 310 folder. works this way for me.

    Hey.
First off, i have cruised this forum the past 2 days.So many informations and so much help. Thanks for that.
    I have the 290gps and 3.30.
This program works fine.It shows up to 8 sats at certain points.
But it wont fix on any of them.I tried to let the program run for 20 min, it only shows sats.
    Am i missing something???
Mapthis is also working fine but it can locate the GPS.
Im going nuts, is it because its cloudy?

    Thx in Advance

everything seem to be working (in terms of software)
I would try to exchange the PSP-290 unit for another one...
    also try following:
    - switch to 111mhz (from gps info screen)
    - don't move while fixing on staellites...
    - try to adjust the angle of the device vs PSP
