With Sims expansion packs flying out of camp EA on a regular basis, there's been no shortage of games to get on with for fans of the life sim, and now EA have added three more titles to the fast-growing Sims library.

The games giant will launch a new Sims product line called Sims Stories this year, with The Sims Life Stories, due later this year, being the first of three story-driven games, allowing players to play through two romantic life plots.

The second, The Sims Pet Stories, is due in Summer 2007 and has you looking after and train virtual pets. And The Sims Castaway has you help your Sims to start a new life on a deserted, paradise island, but isn't due out until Winter 2008.

The Sims Stories games, which can be played without owning any previous version of the Sims, are touted by EA as being 'designed to be laptop-friendly', which we assume means that they will be technologically simplified, allowing them to run on not-so-powerful hardware.

EA also say they'll have 'laptop-friendly controls', but the last time we checked, laptops had mouse-and-keyboard interfaces just like desktop PCs, so we're not quite sure what that means.
