Here's another visual reminder of why Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be one of the biggest games of the year, with six fresh images showing off the game's explosive action, ugly-as-sin Strogg invaders and retina-spearing graphical quality. Hit the images tab above to see more.

We're eagerly frothing at the mouth in anticipation of another hands-on with this stunning - and thrilling - teamplay shooter. Chances are that the fast 'n' furious, grotesquely futuristic and high-action potential of Quake Wars will tear away a chunk of the similarly-posed Battlefield 2142's playing population when the Strogg-fest finally launches later this year. We'll be first in line to repulse the invaders.
