    Default Noiz2sa music

I downloaded the Sandman demo compilation, and through it i discovered this little game called Noiz2sa. It's very good, but as the number of objects onscreen rises, the game slows down to the point it may end up resetting the dreamcast if things get too hectic (try a game of endless if you don't believe me). While this is a nasty bug, i don't think it can be fixed (memory issues, right?). Or is this bug exclusive to the Sandman version of Noiz2saDC?

But why the music sounds so poorer when compared to the original files found in the source code? I've listened to both using the same headphones, and the dreamcast is connected to the tv (which has a headphone jack) through composite. And my DC is doing stereo sounds just fine, Ikaruga's positional stereo sounds are amazing coming through headphones.

Incase someone here can't find either the sandman disc or noiz2sa DC source code, here are the links:

1)Noiz2saDC Main Page - DC Source Code

2)DCEvo Sandman collection site - CDI image

BTW, is this audio problem a isolated case, or does it happen with other homebrew games?

it could be that the sound quality was reduced for that port to free up more ram, but thats just a guess, chui would have to tell you (or some other coder that looks at the source). Chui is on a break from the scene, he just had his first child.

The file contains the brandnew version of the Dreamcast port of Kenta Cho's NOIZ2SA, which Chui released some days ago.

As you can see, NOIZ2SA is a pretty unique shmup game. This new release fixes several problems with the previous release and even allows to use CDDA music (just burn with BootDreams) ...and to use your own barrage patterns!

You can create them with BulletML:

...and test them with the Windows version of NOIZ2SA.

Happy gaming and big thanks to Chui for this great release
