I know Wikipedia was going on about GlamRock, but I was using that basis of GLAM as an example...

...GlamRock/Metal is mostly all about the dressing up, which you don't seem to get!

and yes, I will enjoy my Gothic bands even if they may seem like failures to you (who knows nothing whatsoever)
