You are not meant to format as a FAT16, I think, but I don't know anything about DS homebrew, sorry.

For some reason sandisk 2gb sd memory card are not compatable with supercard sd but after purchasing a kingston branded memory card (2gb) it worked fine

I am looking to purchase a Sandisk 2GB miniSD card also. I was planning on using it with the M3 Perfect (not the Supercard.) I wonder if Sandisk is compatible with the M3 Perfect, or if I should try Kingston instead. Does anyone know?

im not sure but to be on the safe side it may be wise to buy a kingston as apposed to a sandisk but i am not sure i dont use the M3
