Developers now able to make native builds for devices running Intel chips.
Cross-platform tools provider Marmalade continues to enhance its kit, recently integrating Immersion's Haptic SDK into its platform and pledging support for Google Play Games.
The company now releases Marmalade SDK 6.3, which boasts native support for Android smartphones running Intel processors, such as the Atom Z2580 found in the Lenovo K900. Additionally, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8 tools are now out of beta and operating at full capacity.
Harvey Elliott, CEO, Marmalade, said: "At Marmalade we want to make sure that no gamer gets left behind waiting for games to appear on their platform of choice. Now that we’ve added support for Intel smartphones, and completed the next phase of support for BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8, we've got a complete set of the most popular mobile operating systems and chipsets to offer to our development community."
Christos Georgiopoulos, VP of software and services group and GM of the developer relations division, Intel, added: "Adding Marmalade to our next-generation mobile platform opens up some fantastic possibilities for developers who want to make sure their content looks and feels truly amazing.
"Our chips are built into some of the most powerful phones in the world; and we can’t wait to see Marmalade developers translating that power into even more incredible experiences."
