Following Apple's announced changes to its Game Center suite with iOS 7, a potential third-party peripheral for the iPhone has appeared online.
Sporting Logitech's G-prefix branding, the image obtained byKotaku would indicate the firm is preparing its own gamepad for the iPhone 5.
Kotaku doesn't disclose where the image came from but emphasises the legitimacy of the peripheral.
The size of the controller, in addition to its inclusion of a Lightning connector would certainly support the device's existence. As for aesthetics, the pad borrows much of its styling from some of history's favourite controllers, looking very similar to Nintendo's retro gamepad.

Unveiled at Apple's WWDC event earlier this month, iOS 7 is the latest edition of the firm's mobile operating system and is set to introduce a host of changes.
One such change is the planned support for third-party controllers – something that is set to pave the way for a host of iPhone gaming peripherals, such as Logitech's rumoured pad, following Apple's confirmation it would not provide a first party solution.
Could Logitech's device become the first officially supported controller for the iPhone? Expect to find out in the coming months.
