Rovio’s Angry Birds Trilogy is to be released on Wii and Wii U, Activision has confirmed.The publisher has said that the game is “expected” to be released on August 16.The Wii U version will include the ability to play the game on the console’s TV or Gamepad, and will feature online leaderboards. Both versions will also arrive with over 40 hours of bonus content in addition to the three main games, Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.Rovio recently moved into publishing itself, albeit on mobile platforms.
