Unpatched?

My friend wants to downgrade his psp and he has 3.03. His cousin has a GTA:LCS which he bought new in 2005. Is it likely to be patched or unpatched?

if the umd comes with the 2.00 upgrade its unpatched if it has the 2.60 upgrade its patched and cant be used to downgrade

I meant to ask when the patched versions came out in the UK, so I could find know without having to look.

Mine was brought in 2005, and was unpatched. Chances are your friends will be the same.

Patched UMDs of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories started coming out in June 2006 so copies sold before that time will be unpatched.

I suppose nobody knows any way to glean the version of LCS from the sealed package?
The local Evil Empire (aka Wal Mart) has had copies of the game rotting on the $20 shelf for some two years now, and I'm starting to think it might be a good thing to have around.

if you use google you could proabably find something, but my unpatched version has in the top left: airplane on a runway in the background of him riding a motorcycle. Top right: running away from a taxi wielding an ak-47. bottom left 2 police officers around a police car. bottom right: guy standing in front of a blue boat.
