Does anyone have any experience of designing their own website? A friend and I are thinking of starting a vintage gaming website but don't have much experience and wondered how easy it was to do yourself.
We've been looking at 1&1 http://website.1and1.co.uk who do it all for you, is this worth looking at?

I think that it seriously depends on your future goals. If you want to have a professional website, you should address your needs to some professional.
