Smile My Experience With the 290

well i thought i would put some good info out about the 290. this is my first gps so i guess i dont have experience with the others but i really cant complain much about my 290 its been working to good to be true, i didnt expect it to work this good. it usally fixes in a minute or two and after driving for a couple minutes its usally at full bars too. now, the other morning, not so good it was cloudy and i didnt get a fix for a good 5minutes but still i think it works great. im so happy with mine, it seems to get very accurate feeds and even keeps my arrow on the right side of the road. only problem and i think it has to do with the program is the speed is always like 2mph off (less) so im going to mess with that and try to get it more exact for my driving. and note i live in a pretty average town , no big city or anything. now if you want a small and nice gps i think the 290 is the best way to go, just my 2 sense,

Have you checked your tyres? Sometimes car speedos can get put out if your tyres/wheels have been altered after the speedo's calibration...
